Working alongside, and deputising in the absence of, the General Manager, you'll have a crucial role to play in the smooth running of the site, and the efficient, cost effective storage, processing and onward movement of merchandise to our stores.

Deliver the plan
Effectively managing and leading a dedicated team of Shift Operations Managers, you'll be responsible for delivering against our production plans. That means ensuring the site meets its KPIs and is able to support the changing needs of the business.
Because this is very much a front-line, operational role, you'll also be perfectly placed to help the General Manager develop future business plans and to identify opportunities for improvement in every aspect of the site's operations.
Keep an eye on the numbers
To ensure we're running as efficiently as we can, you'll work with the General Manager on budgeting and forecasting for both capital and revenue expenditure and take on budgetary responsibility for operational resource.
You'll minimise shrinkage by employing the latest accuracy standards and audit controls and do whatever it takes to ensure any resource, capacity or stock issues are swiftly and efficiently resolved.
GROWING YOUR TALENT
You will have a crucial role in the identification and development of the people in the whole Distribution Centre. You’ll work in partnership with your General Manager and HR Business Partner to ensure a robust succession plan to ensure we develop and nurture future TJX leaders at all levels.
What we look for
Strategic level management experience that extends to multiple processes and multi-disciplinary teams
Operational experience in a similarly complex manufacturing, processing or distribution environment.
Strong leadership capabilities and a clear understanding of the importance of creating a positive working environment
