PLAN AND OVERSEE
In this high profile role that’s central to the smooth-running of our Processing Centres, you’ll plan and oversee day-to-day operations at one of our sites to reach its objectives, with a particular focus on developing talent, upskilling and coaching every member your team.
You’ll look to your First Line managers to see that the site achieves daily production targets, which will mean providing guidance, structure and support. You’ll have overall responsibility for your own department too – from creating and developing the business plan, to making sure it achieves our desired standard operating procedures and delivers its SLAs.
There are many aspects to the role such as identifying shrink risks and contributing to the day-to-day operational strategy. You’ll partner with specialist colleagues to implement initiatives for continuous improvement.
Above all, you’ll be accountable as duty manager – the first point of contact and the decision-maker for any and all operational issues. Creating and promoting a supportive working atmosphere will be a big part of that.
